SAHCO cabin cleaner returns $730,  credits  found on BA flight 








Stakeholders in the aviation industry  have commended a cabin cleaner in SAHCO : Mr Ibrahim Bala Zakari for his  integrity and honesty in returning $730  and some credit cards found in a British Airways Aircraft .
Zakari, a cabin cleaner, while cleaning British Airways Aircraft, Flight BA8382,that landed in Abuja from London recovered a purse from seat number 35K containing $ 730 and several credit cards. 
In the demonstration of Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO's) core values, he  immediately notified the British Airways Cabin Services Duty Manager (CSDM), after which the purse and its contents were handed over to the British Airways Security team for proper care and procedures.
His exemplary conduct, according to a statement by the company  reflects the culture of integrity and excellence that defines SAHCO. 
Following his conduct, encomiums have been pouring in, commending the integrity, honesty and professionalism of Zakari on social media.
Mr Olayinka Abioye wrote, "Congratulations to SAHCO! Thank you Bala for making us proud that SAHCO produces men and women like you, who are not swayed by lucre but controlled by the spirit of God with integrity, sincerity and utmost honesty".
Another person , Abdulrasheed Al-Musty, declared "This is what SAHCO Plc  is known for across board of their operations. Discipline, integrity and reliable in doing business with."
Abdulkair Bakari described Zakari's action as an outstanding example of integrity adding that Mr. Zakari’s action is  a true credit to the SAHCO team and a shining reflection of the professionalism required in our industry. 
According to him, It is people like him who build and sustain the trust of passengers and urged SAHCO to recognise him.
Efe Chukwudi simply described Zakari as a good boy who deserved an award for his honesty and urged him to keep it up.
In March this year a member of Sahco Cabin Cleaning team, Miss Nnanna Edet, who, during routine post-flight cleaning of a United Nigeria aircraft, discovered a MacBook laptop left behind by a passenger which she promptly handed over to the appropriate security personnel, ensuring that due process was followed. 
Through coordinated efforts, the laptop was successfully returned to its rightful owner.
The company said in a statement:" This act of honesty and diligence reflects the strong ethical standards upheld across SAHCO and reinforces commitment to excellence in service delivery. 
"It is yet another reminder that beyond operational efficiency, Sahco personnel continue to embody trust, responsibility, and professionalism in every task they undertake."
