NAHF to Induct Industry Leaders into Hall of Fame in May 2026
The Nigerian Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) has announced the upcoming 2026 Induction Ceremony, tentatively scheduled for May 2026.
According to a statement by the organisers , the second edition of NAHF will induct esteemed aviators into the Hall of Fame, recognising their dedication, achievements, and service to the industry.
This prestigious event will recognise and enshrine the class of visionaries whose contributions have fundamentally shaped the landscape of Nigerian and African aerospace.
The May ceremony is the pinnacle of the Aviation Hall of Fame Forum, bringing together policymakers, airline executives, and global stakeholders to celebrate excellence in the sector.
HAHF is set to feature individuals who have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and a commitment to safety during a period of significant growth in Nigeria’s aviation sector. The full list of honorees will be unveiled in stages over the coming weeks.

"Their contributions have shaped the course of Nigerian aviation, and we aim to honour their legacy for posterity. Induction into the Nigerian Aviation Hall of Fame is the highest honour our domestic industry can bestow on individuals who sacrificed their lives, time and resources for the development the country’s aviation has witnessed in the last 60 years."

Nomination for this year's Hall of Fame is ongoing, led by a panel of esteemed aviators tasked with reviewing the industry and identifying quality nominees with outstanding records who have positively impacted the industry.
In its maiden edition, prominent figures such as Capt. Robert Hayes, Dr Harold Demuren, Capt. Dele Ore, Dr Bernard Olumuyiwa Aliu, Dr Anastasia Gbem, and Late Capt. Jerry Eyituoyo Agbeyegbe made the list.
Adding glamour and substance to the 2026 edition, portraits of the inductees will be displayed at prominent airports across Nigeria, serving as a testament to their good works and commitment to the industry.
A commemorative magazine will also be published to mark the occasion, featuring the stories of the inductees and highlights from aviation stories and events.
The 2026 edition of NAHF is expected to draw industry stakeholders, aviation professionals, and dignitaries from across the country and beyond.
