NAHCO Travel and Hospitality Limited, the hospitality arm of NAHCO Plc, has unveiled Sapphire Hotel, an exclusive 20-room luxury suite nestled within the Terminal II international departure area. 

Designed for travellers caught between time zones and tight schedules, the hotel introduces a rare blend of calm, elegance and immediacy at one of Nigeria’s busiest aviation gateways.

Just steps from check-in counters and boarding gates, Sapphire Hotel operates round the clock, offering a seamless escape from the bustle of the terminal into a refined sanctuary. 

For transit passengers, business executives and long-haul travellers, the facility transforms waiting hours into moments of rest, productivity and renewal. 

NAHCO’s Group Executive Director, Commercial and Business Development, Prince Saheed Lasisi, described the project as a reflection of the company’s drive for service excellence, assuring that the guest experience would set a new benchmark for in-terminal hospitality in Nigeria.

Beyond luxury accommodation, the hotel emerges as a compact world of convenience. 

Tastefully furnished rooms meet the expectations of global travellers, while business facilities, a fitness space and laundry services cater to both comfort and efficiency. 

Guests are welcomed with complimentary breakfast and a carefully curated menu, and enjoy immediate access to the expansive Sapphire Lounge, a 127-seat premium passenger haven complete with a VVIP section and prayer area. 

According to NAHCO Travel and Hospitality CEO, Ruky Ogbetuo, the vision was to create more than a hotel, a fully integrated hospitality hub tailored to the pace of modern air travel.

The inauguration drew senior NAHCO executives, aviation stakeholders, FAAN officials and representatives of international airlines, underscoring the project’s strategic significance.
