' We did not dump passengers in Barbados' , Air Peace clarifies  Air Peace Limited  offered clarifications on information making the round suggesting  that the airline sold tickets to Jamaica and subsequently “dumped” passengers in Barbados.  The airline has described such reports as both  misleading, inaccurate, and does not reflect the actual facts surrounding the incident. Ground handling equipment damages Air Peace new aircraft  ...Disrupts multiple flights  Flight operations involving a brand-new Embraer 195-E2 aircraft belonging to Air Peace Limited were significantly disrupted on Friday, Boxing Day, following a ground handling incident at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos. According  to a statement by the airline, the incident occurred when a luggage conveyor belt vehicle operated by the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) reportedly collided with the engine of the aircraft, registered as 5N-BYH, while it was on the ground after passengers had completed boarding. The aircraft, the statement added  was scheduled to operate Flight P47750 from Lagos to Accra when the collision occurred.  The impact , it said caused visible damage, resulting in a dent and tear on the aircraft's Thrust Reverser Cowling, a part of the engine cover prompting an immediate safety assessment and the grounding of the aircraf...

  Incident at MMIA forces Air Peace to ground aircraft .....Nine flights scheduled for affected aircraft disrupted  Air Peace has grounded one of its Embraer E2 aircraft following the airplane being  hit by the conveyor belt belonging to the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos on Friday December 26, 2025. The incident caused a dent on the engine cover of the  aircraft marked with registration mark BYH. A source at the airport said the development forced Air Peace to disembark the passengers already on board and subsequently grounding the airplane.
