Captain Mohammed Joji takes a bow  ......Tributes pour in  The sun set a few days ago for one of aviation industry's  vocal voices : Captain Mohammed Joji. Joji, former Managing Directior of defunct Nigeria Airways Limited , bestrode the aviation landscape like a collosus.  He was owner of Skypower Express Airlines . Joji navigated the aviation path , never bothered about its inherent turbulence and controversies. Besides, Joji was a strong voice in the umbrella body of local carriers : the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON). Torrents of tributes have been pouring in concerning Joji's passing.  RC PHIA Donates Birthing Kits to Airport Communities for Safer Deliveries  The Rotary Club of Port Harcourt International Airport (RC PHIA), led by its President, Rtn.  Nigerian airlines can't succeed without review of 54 aviation charges -AON The Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) has said that Nigerian Airlines won't succeed if there is no review of the 54 aviation charges it says that operators pay.  Speaking at the 30th annual conference of the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC) in Lagos, with theme: "Towards a Sustainable Aviation Industry: Balancing government revenue demands with sector growth ", the Vice Chairman of the AON, Allen Onyema, said the charges are among the highest in the world, and have become a significant barrier to the profitability and competitiveness of Nigerian carriers both domestically and internationally.
