  NSIB, SL- AAIIB formalise MoU on accident investigation ....Drive cooperation on data sharing , capacity building  The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau and the Sierra Leone Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau have reached an agreement to expand cooperation in data sharing, joint investigations, and structured training aimed at improving aviation safety outcomes. The agreement was signed at the NSIB headquarters in Abuja and witnessed by members of the management teams of both institutions.   NDLEA arrests 104 with 18,380 kg of drugs  ....Honours officers, journalists  The Edo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has apprehended no fewer than one hundred and four (104) suspected drug traffickers with eighteen thousand three hundred and eighty-one (18,380kg); kilograms of narcotics estimated to cost 1.8 billion naira.  This was disclosed by the Edo State Commander Mitchell Ofoyeju, PhD, while presenting the command's first-quarter operational scorecard in Benin City, the state capital, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. According to Commander Mitchell, those arrested during various intelligence-led raid operations compromised 71 males and 33 females.  He also explained that 18,380kg of drugs were recovered, including 5,825kg seized and a whooping 12,556kg of cannabis destroyed in ten cannabis farms measuring 5.02260 hectares. Police intercepts 14 - year old stowaway attempt at Lagos Airport    The Airport Police Command has intercepted a 14-year-old male, identified as Eke Miracle, in connection with a stowaway attempt at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos on Monday March 30, 2026.  According to the MMIA Police Command Public Relations Officer,  Mohammed Adeola, the minor was discovered on the airport tarmac while attempting to unlawfully gain access beneath an aircraft, an act which constitutes a serious breach of aviation security protocols within a highly sensitive operational environment. According to the Police PRO, preliminary findings indicate that the juvenile unlawfully entered a restricted area of the airport without authorization, contrary to Sections 2 and 3 of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) bylaws, and engaged in actions consistent with a stowaway attempt.
