Keyamo appointed chairman of Ministers of Banjul Accord Group States  The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development of Nigeria, Festus Keyamo  has been appointed as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Banjul Accord Group (BAG) States. According to a statement by the  Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Tunde Moshood, the appointment was announced during the 4th Meeting of the BAG Council of Ministers, held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria.   Shareholders Excited as NAHCO Holds 44th AGM Friday Ahead of the 44th Annual General Meeting of NAHCO scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025, shareholders for the Company have been commending its unprecedented performance. The commendation came on the heels of the declaration of  FY 2024 audited results as profit before tax soared by 115.4 per cent to N18.70 billion in 2024 as against N8.68 billion in 2023. Total revenue rose by 88.5 per cent from N28.40 billion in 2023 to N53.54 billion in 2024. With increased top-line efficiency, gross profit increased by 120.53 per cent to N33.08 billion in 2024 as against N15 billion in 2023. Operating profit also jumped by 123.93 per cent from N8.86 billion to N19.84 billion, underscoring the fact that the groups performance was driven mainly by core business operations. Overland Airways Recommences Flights To Osubi Airport From Lagos / Abuja  Overland Airways, Nigeria’s leading and longest serving private domestic airline,  has announced the resumption of flight services to Warri (Osubi Airport), Delta State from Lagos and Abuja effective May 20, 2025. This was disclosed by Commander Mitchell Ofoyeju, who took over the affairs of the Agency in the State. The redeployment of Commander Mitchell from the Tincan Island Port to the Edo State Command is part of a broader restructuring aimed at enhancing the agency’s operational efficiency.  Nigerian aviators set to host IFAIMA World Conference   The stage is now set  for the IFAIMA World Conference, scheduled to hold from May 27 to 29, 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja.  According to Kabir Yahaya Gusau, Chairman Local Organising Committee (Abuja 2025), the conference is expected to bring together 250 to 270 participants from across the globe to discuss new developments and innovations in Aeronautical Information Management.
