Rwand Air begins four  times weekly Abuja / Kigali flight  ..........New service offers connections to global route network East African Carrier : Rwand Air at the weekend flagged off its Abuja/ Kigali flights offering passengers from Nigeria's political capital opportunity to connect to its global route network.  This is in addition to  the daily Lagos /Kigali  flight separately operated by the carrier. The four weekly service according to its Country Manager, Ms Ibiyemi Odusi will now provide opportunity for government officials, members of the diplomatic corp and other players in the public and private sector to connect flight from Abuja directly  to other routes on the airline's network. NCAA mandates airlines on compliance with FAA airworthiness directive

NCAA mandates airlines on compliance with FAA airworthiness directive  The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued an All Operators Letter (AOL) 070 requiring mandatory compliance with the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Emergency Airworthiness Directive by all operators in Nigeria . Its spokesman, Sam Adurogboye disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday. According to Adurogboye, the AOL was endorsed by Kayode Ajiboye on behalf of  Muhtar Usman, Director General NCAA dated  April 23, 2018  and addressed to all airlines and aircraft owners for immediate compliance. DANA Air presents N200,000 cheque to Hearthland Football Club Player of the Month  As part its corporate social responsibility (CSR) , indigenous carrier - DANA Air has presented a cheque of N200,000 to Hearthland Football Club of Imo State, Player of the Month : Marcel Obioha. The cheque was presented to the the footballer by the airline's Communications Manager, Kingsley EZENWA. The presentation was witnessed by the Chairman of Hearthland FC, GoodFaith Chibour Etuemena .
